Planning is the single most important element in the success of your website.

Below is a summary of the steps we’ll take, in order to launch your successful website.

Step 1: Web Design Quote Sheet (We supply you)

The Web Design quote sheet asks all the right questions in order to get you thinking about your new website.

There are several possible questions that you haven’t yet thought of, that will be important in the design of your site. This document is in Word format, and can be emailed to us when you’ve completed the relevant questions.

Step 2: Initial Consultation

This consultation is a time to discuss ideas. We go through the completed quote sheet (see step 1) together, and discuss the project in more depth.

Step 3: Proposal

Following steps 1 and 2, we’ll prepare an accurate proposal and price for your website development.

Step 4: Contract

Providing the price and specification is in order, we will prepare a standard web design contract.

The proposal, and signed contract along with deposit, will get us started on the initial layout for your site. Signatures and 30% (of total price) deposit due at this stage to secure further development.

Step 5: Web Site Content

You’re required to provide us with all textual content and photographs. It is a good idea for you to get your content ready whilst we are working on your initial layout. We will need it in order to complete the site once the template is created.

Please keep in mind that all content is protected by copyright law and it is not legal for you to use "borrowed" text or pictures without first obtaining permission from their rightful owners.

Step 6: Initial Layout

An initial concept for the design of your web pages is created, based on earlier discussions (documented in steps 1 and 2).

You will be given the opportunity to make revisions to the initial layout before we complete the site. Sign off following your approval. Interim payment of 40% (of total price) due.

Step 7: Web Site Completion

Once the site is complete, you’re given the opportunity to inspect and prepare a list of any errors or omissions that need to be corrected. This is not the time to make changes to navigation or design, please see step 6.

Step 8: Web Site Launch

Once the site is complete and we have received your final approval, we upload the site to the live domain.

The final site will be launched, and pages will be submitted to search engines. Please note that there may be a delay in your site appearing in search engines. Final sign off and remaining balance of 30% due.
